As the year comes to an end, everyone is wrapping up the holidays and getting ready to move forward with a new year and new goals. As we face the beginning of a new year, I look at the changes that have taken place and contemplate where I want to be this time next year.
This year, I left my full time job in July to pursue getting my Photography degree. I've been a photographer since I received my first camera at the age of twelve. That's when I fell in love with the art of freezing a moment of time. My family has had high school graduations, financial struggles, teenage sassiness, job turnovers, and more but we are grateful to have one another and are placing one foot in front of the other to start our new journey.
This year, my photography goal is to build a curriculum that I can use to teach photography. I have some more specific plans in mind but I'm not going to share those just yet. I also want to expand my stock image files so that I can provide additional income for our family. As the year begins and progresses, I hope to post at least once every other week so I can report on the progress of my goals.
I hope that everyone has a happy and safe new year!
